This past Tuesday, the Alternative Press/Hot Topic Mini Mag featuring A Day To Remember came out in Hot Topic stores nationwide. I had the pleasure of taking a large amount of the photos for the mag as well as shooting the cover! Check out more after the jump with photos from the issue, candids, and some other shots that didn’t make it into the magazine!

Before we started the actual shoot, we were waiting on Josh and Kevin to get to the studio. I took that opportunity to head out with Jeremy, Neil and Alex to go shoot the “Next Exit” feature, where the guys talk about their favorite places to go in their hometown of Ocala. We drove around the town to 6 different places and took a quick photo at each one. Everywhere we went, the town-folk knew the guys by name and it really showed how much Ocala loves A Day To Remember. It gives new meaning to the term “hometown heroes”!

After we took all of the photos for the next exit feature, we went back to Rust Studios, where ADTR had recorded “What Separates Me From You” to meet up with Josh and Kevin. The rest of the day I shot a few different set ups in the studio and some outdoor locations for the spreads and cover. All in all, it was an amazing day and we got a lot accomplished in only a few hours. Big thanks to my friend Adam Venero for coming up and assisting me with lights and lugging gear around all day.
