Back in September of 2012, I was invited by my good friends Samantha and Matt Moore (The amazing photography team at So Many Moments) to second shoot and assist for them at a few weddings they had in the Washington and Oregon area. Samantha was 34 weeks pregnant for the last two weddings that she would be shooting before bringing a little angel into the world, so I was more than happy to go up to help her out! The first wedding was for Seth and Erin in the Columbia River Gorge, and the second was for Annie and Connor in Battleground, WA. We got our work done over the weekend and then I had a few more days in Portland so I went with Sam and Matt and some friends to a Corn Maze (A Maize Maze if you will) explored Portland a bit, and then took a day to hone in on my other shooting skills with a beautiful view of Mount Hood in the distance. I had an amazing time out there and can not wait to return sometime this coming year!
