In the midst of all of my recent travels to Cleveland, Ohio to shoot the Alternative Press Music Awards, hitting Warped Tour and the Monumentour in Orlando and Tampa, Moving houses, and getting ready to leave on tour with Set it Off and Our Last Night, I had the chance to check out the Grand Opening and Pre-party of the Shake Shack in Winter Park, FL. Shake Shack is hands down one of my favorite burger joints in the nation, due to the great tasting locally sourced beef, amazing and clean aesthetic, and amazing fries, shakes, and concretes.

The parking is a little wild there, because the recently opened Trader Joes, and Shake Shack are both hot spots for people to shop and eat at. But I was able to get great parking both days. The grand opening was an amazing success, with shack fans showing up at 10:30am to get on line to enjoy some of their favorite burgers around. The shake shack crew passed out free t-shirts and sunglasses, and I got a Shack Stack, which is a cheese burger topped with a shroom burger (crisp fried portobello mushroom stuffed with melted munster and cheddar cheese) and it was delectable!
